Journalists and donors that attended the presentation were able to understand more about the functioning of the opera and the institutional context of the house, as well as learn more about the upcoming productions.

This year's Roadshow took place in the context of the annual Kick-off meeting during which Operadagen Rotterdam presented the complete programme of the 2019 festival edition.
Guy Coolen, the artistic director, introduced this year's theme and presented the content of the festival programme comprising contemporary, innovative, and ground-breaking productions, created by young and established makers from all over the world.
The evening was also an occasion to present some of the major talents and leading-edge makers that will be at the core of this year's programme.
