FEDORA Prizes Biennale

SUPPORTING ARTISTIC WORKS

The FEDORA Prizes Biennale matches cutting-edge innovative artistic on stage projects led by emerging artists with international funding opportunities enabling the unexpected to reach audiences. The Prizes are awarded every two years to promising artists and teams of co-producing cultural institutions who collaborate on the creation of new opera or dance productions.

Prerequisites

Organisations working in performing arts production can apply for the prizes if they are a member of the FEDORA network.

The productions can be entirely new or represent the next scaling step of an already initiated project. Opening nights/project launches must be scheduled within the time frame of spring 2023 and end of year 2024.

Projects should involve multiple partner organisations in the implementation of the project. (For opera and dance categories applicants should either involve one international partner or be made accessible online.)

Next Stage Grants

SUPPORTING TRANSFORMATIVE PROJECTS

The Next Stage Grants will provide financial support for transformative projects. Grants will be awarded to projects led by a minimum of two partners (cultural organisations) that will improve the way the sector sources, produces and operates on, behind and beyond the stage. This initiative is led by FEDORA and Opera Europa.

E.g.: Sustainable renovation of theatres, recycling costumes, inclusivity human resources trainings, implementation of innovative ticketing & CRM tools etc.

Organisations working in performing arts production can apply for the grants if they are a member of FEDORA and/or Opera Europa network.

The projects can be entirely new or represent the next scaling step of an already initiated project with at least one partner from the sector (opera or dance company).

Projects should be led by a minimum of two partnering cultural organisations.
