Get into Dance
An integral part of our work at Sadler’s Wells is to take dance out into the community and invite communities into our theatre. One of the ways we do this is through our ‘Get into Dance’ scheme which offers 3,300 tickets a year for £3, to enable those otherwise unable to come to the theatre to enjoy our shows.

Sadler’s Wells strongly promotes innovation and artistic collaboration. Our main aim is to give artists the conditions to make their best work. Our Associate Artists, Resident and Associate Companies are among the most outstanding dance talents today. Through our support network, they are able to seek out new ideas and collaborations, producing works to critical and popular acclaim. We give the next generation of artists the means to create the outstanding new dance of the future.
Sadler’s Wells has run the National Youth Dance Company since 2012,
training 30 young people each year and touring the country with
workshops and performances. NYDC develops strong regional partnerships
through a range of projects and activities and also offers targeted
opportunities to support talented young deaf and disabled dancers. A video of their recent trip to UK City of Culture, Hull, can be found here.

New Wave Associate Artists
New Wave Associates is a 3-year holistic programme supporting emerging artists by offering specific guidance on the commissioning process and presentation of their work. The programme is one of our several initiatives that nurture emerging talent.
Current New Wave Associate Wilkie Branson has benefited greatly from his involvement in the programme: “To be supported in this way by an organisation like Sadler’s Wells makes seeing the possible pathways forwards within the dance industry not only clearer but also more possible."
Wilkie
is currently working on an autobiographical 3D-film dance installation, TOM and
a video of his progress can be found here.
