Operadagen Rotterdam presented the FEDORA Platform on the occasion of their kick-off, on March 15th, 2018. The kick-off is a yearly event in which Operadagen Rotterdam presents the complete program of that year's festival edition. The Artistic director, Guy Coolen, spoke about the theme (Courage) and the content of the festival program. There were live performances from productions such as as Così, Beast, De dood - een gebruiksaanwijzing and Les Âmes Perdues. Nico Schaafsma presented the FEDORA Platform and also presented Operadagen's circle of friends and donors.

This year's Roadshow organised by Teatro Real was organised during the general rehearsal of the opera Capriccio by Strauss.
During this special evening, the young members of the Friends of Teatro Real were invited to attend a presentation by Marisa Vázquez-Shelly about the vision and mission of the Fedora Platform.
