Lausanne Opera is a historic opera house in the heart of Lausanne, Switzerland, opened in 1871 and now a major cultural institution for French-speaking Switzerland. It presents a broad programme of opera, ballet and concerts each season, ranging from baroque to contemporary works and attracting internationally renowned singers and artists. After major renovations completed in 2012, the theatre offers modern stage technology, excellent acoustics and an intimate atmosphere for around 1,000 spectators

The season continues with an ambitious approach: the first five opera productions are Lausanne premieres, and the lineup features diverse styles, from baroque to post-romantic works. The program includes new productions, participatory performances for young audiences, the return of ballet with a special tribute to Charlie Chaplin, and concerts by renowned artists such as Michael Spyres. Both established stars and emerging talents will perform, accompanied by Lausanne’s key orchestras and conductors making their debuts. The season also strengthens links with local cultural institutions, aiming to reach a wide and varied public.
By joining as a sponsor or patron, you support opera creation, help emerging talent, and enhance the reputation of a theater recognized in Switzerland and abroad. You also commit to values of diversity, equality, and accessibility, unite your team around an inspiring project, and become part of a vibrant creative institution.
