Fondazione Teatro Comunale Città di Vicenza was established in 2007 to manage the Civic Theater of Vicenza, the “new” theater awaited for more than 60 years by the City of Vicenza. It is an entity incorporated under private law that performs a public cultural service; it interacts with other institutional bodies, both public and private, at the local and national level, to produce artistic events and live entertainment for the expansion of high quality cultural experience, to respond to the needs of different audiences, in a constantly changing social context.
Fondazione Teatro Comunale Città di Vicenza works to build an inclusive theater, where everyone can find a favorite genre and enjoy good entertainment. In its role of attractor and processor of a new generation of culture, the TCVI Foundation produces innovation, organizes events of every kind and experiments with new and original forms of collaboration; it promotes the spread of culture throughout the area through awareness and the habit of consuming culture in the field of the performative arts and more, with the goal of contributing to create informed and participating spectators.
In the relationship of the Theater with its community, it is becoming increasingly important to offer and produce new works, inspiring innovative visions of reality, creating active tools for change and rebirth, capable of generating wellbeing for the populace, from the physical, psychological and economic standpoint.
DISCOVER OUR ON-GOING SEASON
The 2023-2024 program of the TCVI proposes its idea of theatre, an offer of live entertainment that intertwines a plurality of artistic languages, an open system in which everyone has the opportunity to recognize themselves and to rediscover "their" genre and expectations of entertainment, sociability, in-depth analysis; lowest common denominator, the level and quality of the shows and projects.

ABOUT "DANZA IN RETE FESTIVAL"
Danza in Rete Festival presents itself as a "global" event promoted by the Fondazione Teatro Comunale Città di Vicenza which pervades the performance venues and urban spaces of the city of Vicenza, placing Dance, its expressive methods and its relationship potential, as a strong sign of identity of the territory.
It is a widespread event, scheduled in different locations, in the main theaters and in artistic and monumental spaces and is made up of numerous events including shows, performances, in-depth meetings with dance experts and artists, audience development and engagement paths , with the active involvement of the public.
