My career and my projects reflect a deep connection with my African roots, as well as a clear desire to convey strong messages through dance, which I relate to the upheavals of our world. I aim to paint a picture of everyday life that is at once committed, powerful, poetic and humanist, all carried by a certain form of transgression and aesthetics of disorder, which opens onto the spaces of the human soul, of mixed light and darkness. My approach and contemporary choreographic writing, imbued with African spiritualities and nourished by a humanist sensibility, respect for human dignity and these sacred rights, develops with creations of contemporary original music.

ABOUT "NØTRE BØLÉRØ"
Inspired by the very specific rhythm of Ravel's Bolero, I decided to create my own Bolero, entitled "Nøtre Bølérø", drawing on the links I've created between the original pulse and lullabies, African ritornellos and the Boloye dances of the panther men from my home town of Korhogo. Accompanied by five dancers and two musicians (drummer, flutist), the aim is to create an original musical work based on the five parameters of Ravel's Bolero: Time, Rhythm, Melody, Modulation and Ritornello. The dancers will each carry one of these parameters to build a living orchestra.
