Chiara Osella

Short Bio

With a curriculum that spans stage and screen, Chiara Osella is an eclectic artist. Starting her opera singer career as a a winner of Spoleto Competition, Chiara Osella became a member of Valencia's Palau de Les Arts Academy, where she worked alongside Plácido Domingo and under the guidance of stage director Davide Livermore. She has performed in important productions and concerts in Italy and abroad (Teatro Regio Torino, Teatro Politeama Palermo, Auditorium della Musica Roma, Muscat Royal Opera House, Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, Seoul Arts Center in both classical and baroque repertoire. Chiara also takes an active engagement in contemporary music and has performed both as singer and actress in several world premieres written especially for her voice. Being keen on experimentation, she is co-founder of the cross-over musical project Swing Opera, creator and performer in the theater show Estinzione with C&C Company and ORTIKA and actress in Carlo Boccadoro's Cavoli a merenda
