On Thursday, May 24th, our Platform Member Kungliga Operan (Royal Swedish Opera), organised a fundraising event for its patrons and subscribers and for the Friends of the Royal Swedish Ballet in order to raise money for the point shoe costs for the Royal Swedish Ballet. The target of this fundraising campaign is 500,000 SEK (around €50,000) and will end on December 31st, 2018.
On this occasion, a ballet rehearsal was given, as well as a ballet class in to instruct in the use of point shoes.

This year's Roadshow at Teatro alla Scala took place on the occasion of theroundtable "Die Tote Stadt - femme fatale fra reincarnazione e desantificazione" (Die Tote Stadt - femme fatale between reincarnation and desantification). Organised by Franco Pulcini, the conference took place in the Ridotto dei Palchi "Arturo Toscanini" before the première of Erich Wolfgang Korngold's opera "Die tote Stadt".
