About the event

The Greek National Opera’s Professional Dance School presented Epilogue on 21 and 22 June 2025 at the Stavros Niarchos Hall, concluding their academic year under the direction of Yorghos Matskaris. The performance featured four choreographies by Lucas Viallefond, Ermira Goro, Edouard Hue, and student Kyriakos Kontozis.

The program opened with Étude, a classical piece by Lucas Viallefond set to original music by Giorgos Kontovas. Ermira Goro’s Skipping on Stardust offered an expressive exploration of movement, light, and emotion. Edouard Hue presented a reworked excerpt from his Dive that emphasized instinctual and raw movement. Kyriakos Kontozis made his choreographic debut with Rock, Scissors, Paper, supporting the School’s goal to foster emerging choreographers.

Following the performances in Athens, the School participated for the first time in the Kalamata International Dance Festival with Epilogue on 22 July 2025.
