With its bare stage and low-key lighting and sound, with coloured gloves and shoes its sole ostentation, William Forsythe’s A Quiet Evening of Dance (even the title feels reticent) is the opposite of showy. But pay it close attention and it reveals a kind of introverted virtuosity that leaves you dumbstruck."

The New York Times has announced the Best Classical Music of 2019!
The new opera "Denis & Katya" by Philip Venables and Ted Huffman that won the FEDORA - GENERALI Prize for Opera 2019 has made the list.
Last month, the Greek National Opera presented for the third year in a row the first intercultural youth opera hub in Europe: Co-OPERAtive. Winner of the FEDORA Education Prize in 2019, CoOPERAtive is an educational programme that strives to broaden opera’s appeal to a younger audience and boost cultural diversity and social cohesion.
