Roadshow
The roadshow, led by Birmingham Royal Ballet, incorporated a morning of training and professional development followed by an opportunity to see work focussed on Children and Young People.
During the morning, best practice in working with young people with disabilities and skills for working with that community were discussed. The training was led by BRB’s Education Manager, Lee Fisher, along with the company’s exceptional Freefall Dance Company, made up of participants with profound learning disabilities.
Along the training, attendees learned more about the Fedora Platform, the Education Prize and discussed the opportunities to engage.
Following the training the participants were invited to watch Birmingham Royal Ballet’s production of First Steps: Peter and the Wolf, which is aimed at a young audience and is accessible to families. First Steps is BRBs programme of works aimed at children under the age of 9 as a first introduction into the magical world of classical ballet.

This year's Roadshow event took place during the annual general assembly that provides the members an exclusive look behind the scenes and into the work of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden.
Anna Schwanhäusser presented the vision and mission of the FEDORA Platform and the event culminated with a performance o young musicians supportet by the Friends and Patrons.
In order to celebrate Den Jyske Operas participation in the FEDORA Platform and to reach out to new donors and other prospects Den Jske hosted a magnificent afternoon of world-class opera called "Opera After Work".

A summer concert in a park with our Platform Member Den Jyske Opera

On Saturday, June 12th, together with Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Den Jyske Opera invited their audience to a free and festive opera concert under the open sky, where they could experience excerpts from both well-known classics and unknown opera treasures. The audience could enjoy excerpts from Carmen, La Bohème and Fête galante, performed by national and international soloists from the upcoming season: Ksenia Antonova, Christian Damsgaard, Randy Diamond, Sidsel Aja Eriksen, Morten Grove Frandsen, Trond Halstein Moe, Lena Haselmann and Laura Scherwitzl.
