PERFORMANCE & WORKSHOP OF PLATFORM-K

Belgium - 21.01.22

Winner of the FEDORA Education Prize 2021

On 20 January, the FEDORA Team attended a performance of the Goldberg Variations in Bruges, a piece choreographed by Michiel Vandevelde which stars Oskar Stalpaert a dancer of the programme "Dance training for people with a disability" led by Platform-K, winner of the FEDORA Education Prize 2021.

This moving and inspiring programme challenges our society’s generic notion of beauty on stage and claims how dancers with disabilities are an added value to the contemporary dance scene. The next day we attended one of the training programme and met with the teachers and dancers and got to discover how they work. Learn more about the project here.
