Reimagining Donor Engagement in a Time of Covid: Merging Creativity with Fundamentals for Successful Development

The arts and culture world has been in a unique state of upheaval because of Covid-19. Doors have closed, performances have been canceled, and the most potent force of donor relationship building — face to face engagement — has become impossible. Anxiety and uncertainty over the future are understandable, but we can find assuredness and strength in the successful work of peers to continue building stronger, deeper connections with supporters, even in a distanced time.

On October 27th, 2020 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM (CEST), you are welcome to attend a virtual conversation between Ms Coralie Toevs, Assistant General Manager — Development at The Metropolitan Opera, and Ms Marisa Vázquez-Shelly, Director of Private Giving at Teatro Real. They will explore the shifting challenges and strategies needed to respond to and recover from Covid-19’s impact on philanthropy, through the unique lens of the performing arts and cultural nonprofit sector.

We are hosting this event with the King Baudouin Foundation United States, the leading resource in the U.S. to facilitate philanthropic giving to Europe and Africa.
