Discover the Next Stage Grant Recipient project by Oper Leipzig, Sustainable costumes, through the eyes of Katja Schmidt, Hat Department Manager and manager of the project, and Bernd Niesar, Director of the Theatre Workshops.

"Thanks to Opera Europa and FEDORA, we will now analyse the life cycle of our costumes in four opera productions. Especially in the craft sector, we can turn crucial screws to achieve convincing standards of sustainability."
