Digital experiences extend our perception of opera and ballet. They engage our mind, our hearts, and our bodies. Despite being closed, some of our organizational members offer exciting online workshops and activities that keep inspired both physically and mentally.

Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie

Discover DRAMA@HOME by the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf Duisburg where Anna Melcher, Anne do Paço, Anna Grundmeier, Alban Pinet and Heili Schwarz-Schütte from opera's creative think tank write about topics of cultural life that inspire and move them personally.
The Theatre has extended their online offer to keep you entertained while the doors are being closed. Discover their online workout and ballet sessions with dancer Michèle Seydoux as your professor. Teatro Sociale di Como has put in place an exciting challenge for its community. As next 23 October will be the anniversary that celebrates 100 years since the birth of Gianni Rodari (italian poet, writer and journalist), and everyone is invited to send a short video in the Inbox messages of their Facebook page, while reading or acting a poem. You can take a class on arabesques and learn how to do a perfect tombé pas de bourrée. If you are into more relaxing activities, discover beautiful puzzles on opera and ballet and watch how the dancers and the chorus digitally connect and create while staying at home.
Gran Teatre del Liceu
Gran Theatre del Liceu has been busy to keep inspiring despite the theatre's doors are close. Watch as the musicians virtually come together and performs "Nessun dorma" from Puccini's Turandot. Watch their first online conference "From Craftsmen to Artists: The Transformation of the Cultural World between Enlightenment and Romanticism" by their collaborator and friends of the theatre, Enric Calpena.
Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía is committed to connecting audiences and artists until the curtain of the stage rises up again. Watch as the musicians and signers record themselves at home in order to offer you short videos of arias and pieces for ensembles which will keep you inspired.

The Birmingham royal ballet is working hard to create new content and to re-share some of their favourites from past years to help keep you entertained during the isolation. English National Ballet
There is a ballet class for everyone at the English National Ballet! Whether you are a professional dancer, intermediate, beginner, or just ballet curious, these classes help you stay active and positive. These classes are taught by renowned artists such as the Ballet’s Artistic Director and Lead Principal Tamara Rojo, Katie Mason from Rambert, and many Dance Artists from the Company. Manchester International Festival
The Manchester International Festival will continue through MIFLIVE, a free online programme for audiences at home, featuring much-loved shows from the archives, artists talks, and new work from Manchester artists.In the section "Viewpoints", they initiate a reflexion on the arts through the themes and work featured in the festival through interviews, articles to podcasts and immersive content.
Rambert (United Kingdom)
Rambert has launched Rambert Home Studio, offering inspiring online classes on a pay-what-you-can basis for everyone, whatever your age or level. Classes are taught by dancers from Rambert’s diverse, talented ensemble and leading international teachers.
Classes for adults include contemporary, ballet and body conditioning, as well as Rambert’s Mercury Movers for ages 60+ in a fit-to-do at home format. Curated by Rambert’s Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer, the professional class series brings the expertise of international dance artists to the professional community.
Classes for children range from Little (2yo+) and Young (6yo+) Movers through to a special technique class for GCSE students, supporting the dance studies of teenagers aged 14 - 16.
