FEDORA x HEC Lausanne: Digital Innovation and Design Challenge
Since 2015 we have been working closely with business schools in order to get young professionals involved in the cultural industry and inform them about the new funding models for opera and dance industry.
For the first time this year, we had the pleasure to work with the talented students of Digital Innovation and Design course at HEC Lausanne.
Each group of students was assigned an opera or dance company of the FEDORA Platform and was tasked to recognize and clearly define the core challenge of that institution and develop a prototype which could support the company’s Next Stage project application. For our Platform Members, this project is a great opportunity to gain valuable insights on digitalization.
At the end of this partnership, the students will be able to explain how digitalization impacts products and processes of cultural institutions, to understand the specific challenges of the performing arts sector and to apply relevant conceptual knowledge to real-life cases.
