Drooms allows companies to control access to confidential corporate data across company boundaries and specialises in providing tailored solutions for the entire value chain and lifecycle management of assets. Its customer base includes leading global real estate companies, consultants, law firms and corporations. All servers are located in Germany and Switzerland and are GDPR compliant.

Founded in 2001 by M&A and legal experts, Drooms is an Entrepreneurial European company based in Frankfurt and Zug with 170 employees from 25 different nationalities. It holds branch offices in Munich, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Madrid and Milan as well as solutions partners globally. At the moment there are more than 90.000 users across 165 countries who are using Drooms with 15.000 projects amounting to over EUR 300 billion since its inception.

The Drooms executive management team consists of transaction experts who have long-term experience working in and with global companies, and realised the need for an effective software solution for controlled access to confidential documents. Alexandre Grellier has been leading the company since 2003 and has been responsible for the significant growth of the data room business in Germany while Jan Hoffmeister, as co-founder of Drooms, was one of the trailblazers for the introduction of virtual data room solutions in Europe.
