This November, Opera Europa's Conference on the theme of digital innovation was held at the Dutch National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The conference focused on the topic of "Digital Advance", bringing together opera professionals, experts and guests who exchanged ideas on ways to employ technology to improve performance and accessibility in opera and dance.

During this 2-day conference, Barbara Gessler, Head of Unit Creative Europe & Directorate General - Education and Culture from the European Commission, opened the conference with a speech about the importance of leveraging and innovating through digital for the cultural sector.


Moreover, FEDORA’s Corporate Partners, Bird & Bird, represented by Manuela Cox, and Drooms, represented by Dorine van Amerom, contributed with their expertise to a session on efficient and legal digital processes.
