FEDORA Prizes


We are pleased to announce that FEDORA has federated €10,000 of matching funds for some of the nominated projects of the FEDORA Prizes 2021 which will help boost their crowdfunding campaign and scale their artistic impact.


How do the FEDORA Matching Funds work?

For every €1 donated to a nominated project by the general public, the matching funder will match their donations towards the project within the defined matching funds budget on the FEDORA Platform.
€1 donated + €1 matched = €2 for the project


This initiative is made possible thanks to the support of our community of Individual Donors and thanks to the support of our Corporate Members and Donors:

  • Secutix, the global Ticketing Engagement Platform who will provide Matching Funds for one project per prize category.

  • Drooms, the leading provider of Virtual Data Rooms in Europe who will provide Matching Funds for “Coppélia in the digital age” by Edinburgh International Festival.

  • Variations International, the expert in supporting companies in the evolution of their organisations will provide matching funds for “We are musicians” by Stara Zagora State Opera.

The first €1,000 donated to this project will be doubled thanks to the generous support of FEDORA’s Corporate Member Drooms, the leading provider of Virtual Data Rooms in Europe. “Coppélia in the digital age” has been nominated for the FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Prize for Ballet 2021.

Innocence

In present day Finland, on the occasion of a wedding, the ghosts of the past emerge. Can one regain lost innocence?
The first €1,000 donated to this project will be doubled thanks to the generous support of FEDORA’s Corporate Donor Secutix, the global Ticketing Engagement Platform.“Innocence” has been nominated for the FEDORA Opera Prize 2021.

Peeping Tom / La Visita (working title)

What is real, what is created, what is art and what is present in your own mind? Your experience in the world of visual art revisited through Peeping Tom’s surrealistic esthetic.
The first €2,000 donated to this project will be doubled thanks to the generous support of FEDORA’s Corporate Donor Secutix, the global Ticketing Engagement Platform and to FEDORA's community of Individual Members. “Peeping Tom / La Visita (working title)” has been nominated for the FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Prize for Ballet 2021.

Dance training for people with a disability

Platform-K (Belgium)

Platform-K offers the chance to disabled dancers to step into the professional dance world.
The first €1,000 donated to this project will be doubled thanks to the generous support of FEDORA’s Corporate Donor Secutix, the global Ticketing Engagement Platform.“Dance training for people with a disability” has been nominated for the FEDORA Education Prize.




Totality in Parts, a reenactment

Royal Swedish Opera (Sweden)

A dance creation deconstructed as a large scale interactive installation and a web app.
The first €1,000 donated to this project will be doubled thanks to the generous support of FEDORA’s Corporate Donor Secutix, the global Ticketing Engagement Platform. “Totality in Parts, a reenactment” has been nominated for the FEDORA Digital Prize 2021.



We are musicians

Stara Zagora State Opera (Bulgaria)

For the first time in their lives, these Bulgarian children with special needs can participate in and appreciate an opera performance.
The first €4,000 donated to this project will be doubled thanks to the generous support of FEDORA’s Corporate Member Variations International, the expert in supporting companies in the evolution of their organisations and of FEDORA’s community of Individual Donors. “We are musicians” has been nominated for the FEDORA Education Prize 2021.
