FEDORA Prizes, Winners

On 19 October, the winner of the FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Dance Prize 2023, Mont Ventoux, came to life on the stage of the Conde Duque Contemporary Culture Center in Madrid, Spain.

This project by Kor'sia, the Madrid-based company, is led by the Italian choreographers Antonio de Rosa and Mattia Russo, and dramaturge Agnés López-Río.

Together they reinterpret Francesco Petrarca's 1336 work "Ascent to Mont Ventoux," to rethink and reflect on the physical, mental, and intellectual aspects of our daily life in the world we have created. They portray it as a time for a new Renaissance: a reset, to build a new man and to force a shift in paradigm towards humanism.
