Belgium - King Baudouin Foundation 
With common goals of improving our society and maximizing social impact, FEDORA is pleased to present the King Baudouin Foundation as the Belgian partner within the online Transnational Giving Europe network. FEDORA is grateful for the support of King Baudouin Foundation in making this international collaboration a reality.  

About King Baudouin Foundation

The King Baudouin Foundation was established as a public benefit foundation in 1976 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of King Baudouin’s reign. It is governed by an Advisory Council, a Board of Directors, and an Executive Staff of 96 individuals and is dedicated to the following areas of activity: social justice & poverty, health, heritage and culture, social engagement, Africa, Latin America, Asia, education and development of talents, Europe, and climate, the environment, and biodiversity.

Created in 1995, BCause is an expert organisation and recognized leader for philanthropy in Bulgaria and internationally. With over 20 years of experience, BCause promotes donation causes and provides personalized support to donors and social entrepreneurs. The team of 10 people is dedicated to the following causes: social, education, culture, local development, the environment, human rights, and treatment. The full list of BCause campaigns is available on Platformata.bg.

Croatia - European Foundation for Philanthropy and Society Development
FEDORA is delighted to introduce the newest addition to the Transnational Giving Europe network: Croatia’s very own European Foundation for Philanthropy and Society Development. As the TGE partner in the Republic of Croatia, the European Foundation focuses on social development based on philanthropy, social innovation, and responsible management in Croatia and internationally.

About European Foundation for Philanthropy and Society Development
The European Foundation for Philanthropy and Society Development was established to develop philanthropy by providing expert and financial support to philanthropists, foundations and socially responsible legal entities through high-quality innovative operation models on national and European levels.
The mission of the European Foundation is “to become an institutionalized European and international excellence center" for the development of individual philanthropy and foundations and the resource center for the provision of any information and expert documentation on philanthropy, social innovation, and society development, as well as the focal location for public discussion about issues and directions of society development based on philanthropy, public innovations, and responsible governance.

France - Fondation de France
United in the desire to build a better world in France and beyond, FEDORA is proud to have the support of Fondation de France as a partner of the Transnational Giving Europe Platform. Fondation de France enables your generosity towards opera, ballet, and education to transcend the borders of France.

Fondation de France is a private, non-profit organization and the largest non-governmental grant-making charity in France. The foundation was established in 1969, on the initiative of André Malraux and General de Gaulle. It employs 220 people among six regional foundations across the country.

Germany - Maecenata Stiftung
A partner in supporting culture and furthering international understanding, FEDORA is pleased to introduce Maecenata Stiftung, the German foundation in the Transnational Giving Europe network.

About Maecenata Stiftung
Maecenata Stiftung (or the Maecenata Foundation) is an independent think tank on civil society, civic engagement, philanthropy, and foundations. It has the legal form of a non-profit foundation under civil law. Built in 2010, it has combined all Maecenata activities under one roof since 2011. The foundation currently has a team of ten people, including research assistants, a librarian, and three student assistants.
The foundation supports the promotion of many causes, including but not limited to: education, basic and vocational training, including student aid, international attitudes, tolerance in all areas of culture and international understanding, aid for the politically, racially or religiously persecuted, for refugees, displaced persons, emigrants, late repatriates, and war victims, public health and public health care, youth and elderly care, art and culture, environmental protection, coastal protection and flood protection, civic engagement.

Greece - Higher Incubator Giving Growth & Sustainability - HIGGS 
Creativity and innovation are two essential values for both FEDORA and HIGGS, the Greece-based partner organization in the Transnational Giving Europe network. FEDORA is grateful for the dedicated work of HIGGS to enable cross-border generosity to Greece and beyond.

About HIGGS - Higher Incubator Giving Growth & Sustainability
“Our vision is that HIGGS evolves into a hub of creativity and open dialogue aimed at promoting collaboration and innovation in the NPO sector as well as a meeting place of all interested parties, both literally and symbolically.”
Founded in 2015, the Higher Incubator Giving Growth & Sustainability (HIGGS) is the first incubator & accelerator for NGOs in Greece. It seeks to reinforce non-profit organizations in Greece through capacity building, in particular training, mentoring, networking, and events. HIGGS provides NGOs with the necessary skills, tools, knowledge, and support to operate effectively and maximize their social impact. HIGGS is directly connected to the majority of Greek humanitarian organizations. Its founding donor is the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

Hungary - Carpathian Foundation-Hungary
With the common goal of building solidarity in our communities, FEDORA is proud to present the Carpathian Foundation-Hungary, a member organization of the Transnational Giving Europe network. FEDORA is grateful for the Carpathian Foundation-Hungary’s support in facilitating philanthropy across borders.

About Carpathian Foundation-Hungary
The Carpathian Foundation-Hungary “runs its programs to fulfill the following main objectives: to support local development initiatives of NGOs and communities; to support disadvantaged rural areas and vulnerable groups; to raise social awareness and to support disadvantaged youth.”
Registered in Hungary in 2002, the foundation aims to build solidarity and cohesive communities in the Carpathian region. The foundation is a member of the International Carpathian Foundation Network of four independent foundations serving the Carpathian Euroregion.
The Carpathian Foundations, governed by a Board of Directors and a 6-person management team, were established with the financial support of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation to operate as a network of regional community foundations in the most underdeveloped bordering areas of the Carpathian Euroregion (Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine) by supporting citizens and local development initiatives. 

Italy - Fondazione Lang Europe Onlus
FEDORA is pleased to present the Italian partner in the Transnational Giving Europe network, Fondazione Lang Europe Onlus, which works to maximize social impact in Italy and abroad.

Fondazione Lang Europe Onlus is a nonprofit organization with the unique purpose of pursuing goals of social solidarity through direct and indirect giving, accomplished by financing social initiatives of nonprofit organizations in Italy and abroad.
Fondazione Lang Europe Onlus is managed within the Fondazione Lang Italia. Created in 2011, Fondazione Lang Italia is an initiative of the Lang Trust, launched by a Milanese entrepreneur to promote an active philanthropy able to improve the lives of generations to come. It is managed by a team of four employees and a Strategic Committee of ten.

Romania - Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation
Inspired by its dedicated efforts to improve communities, FEDORA is pleased to introduce the Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation, the Romanian partner in the Transnational Giving Europe network.

The Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation (OSCF) is an independent local fundraiser and grant-maker supporting the culture of charity, which builds a conscious, responsible, mutually observant, active, and creative community through grants and programmes. It was created in 2007, and its team consists of six staff members, five board members, and numerous volunteers.
The OSCF supports many important causes, such as charity, the environment, healthy lifestyles, youth & education, healthcare, and community development.

Spain - Empresa y Sociedad Fundación
Innovation is core to both FEDORA’s identity and the Empresa y Sociedad Fundación, the Spanish partner of the Transnational Giving Europe network. In the spirit of international collaboration, FEDORA would like to highlight Empresa y Sociedad Fundación and its vital philanthropic work within and beyond Spain.

Empresa & Sociedad is a foundation that was created in 1995. Since then, it has inspired the innovative commitment of companies to society, promoting open and collaborative leadership in areas with potential for exponential growth. It has an advisory board of ten people.The foundation aims to inspire companies’ innovative commitment to society in areas of exponential growth thanks to curious, proactive, collaborative and creative people. Since 2010, the foundation has worked in three new innovation ecosystems:

Switzerland - Swiss Philanthropy Foundation
United in the commitment to maximize philanthropic impact, FEDORA is grateful for the key partnership of Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, the Switzerland-based member of the Transnational Giving Europe network. FEDORA is grateful for the support of Swiss Philanthropy Foundation in the development of the new online Transnational Giving Europe platform.

Swiss Philanthropy Foundation was established in 2006 as a non-profit hosting foundation to provide philanthropists with a simple, cost-effective way to achieve their charitable objectives. The foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees of eight people, a Finance Committee of three, and a Management Team of six.
The Swiss Philanthropy Foundation enables philanthropists to implement their commitments sustainably through the creation and administration of philanthropic funds.

Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) is a charity, bank and champion for better giving. For over 90 years it has been helping donors, companies and charities make a greater impact.
