We Are Musicians: Celebrating Inclusion Through Music
On International Children’s Day, children from the inclusive initiative We Are Musicians joined artists from Stara Zagora State Opera for a joyful musical celebration dedicated to imagination, participation and every child’s right to experience the arts.

Together with their mentor Rusalina Mochukova, the young participants shared the stage with opera soloists and ballet artists as part of Stara Zagora State Opera’s special programme for International Children’s Day.
The event created an opportunity for children with different needs and abilities to participate directly in an artistic experience, placing inclusion and access to culture at the heart of the celebration.
We Are Musicians forms part of the Opera’s long-term commitment to creating a more accessible and inclusive cultural environment. By giving young participants the opportunity to perform alongside professional artists, the initiative supports artistic development while creating meaningful encounters through music.
The programme also gives greater visibility to young talents and inclusive artistic practices, demonstrating how music can create connections between people and open cultural experiences to a wider range of participants.
