As part of MusicTown 2018, our Platform Member, Irish National Opera, organized a free performance of a new production of Mozart's short opera Der Schauspieldirektor (The Opera Director), particularly aimed at young people. The performance featured a cast of young Irish singers directed by Caroline Staunton, and the Irish Chamber Orchestra conducted by Sinéad Hayes. The performance is particularly aimed at those who have not been to the opera before.

On the occasion of the Opera de Rouen Normandie's Season Launch, a round-table presentation was held with the participation of Loïc Lachenal, General director of Opera de Rouen Normandie as main speaker, and the whole Young public and education team.

Unerhört is a project led by Theater Magdeburg enabling children and teenagers to discover what theatre and opera are all about. During one week, students were able to try out different forms of theatre activities by attending seven workshops, from singing to drama and dance.
