FEDORA's Activities, Next Stage Initiative
Last month, FEDORA and Opera Europa organised together the first Next Stage Forum, hosted at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
Next Stage Grants Shortlist Announcement
On this occasion, we announced the 15 projects shortlisted for the Next Stage Grants. Their representatives pitched these innovative and inspiring initiatives that are driving change through sustainability, inclusivity and digital transformation, during a session moderated by FEDORA's Funding Programmes Manager, Müge Naz Altay.
We also had the chance to learn more about the Deutsche Oper am Rhein's plans for a new sustainable opera house from Managing Director Alexandra Stampler-Brown. Katharina Moll from Kearney gave insights on digital solutions to drive and deliver sustainability ambitions. Maria-Elena Camarascu from the European Commission presented the vision, project and ambitions of the New European Bauhaus.
Experts explored the scope and impact of sustainability, inclusivity and digital transformation for the future of opera and dance. Panellists discussed how to best use data and funds for sustainable strategies, digital initiatives for hearing and vision impaired audiences and how to nurture diverse creative teams.
