FEDORA welcomes Vialma as a new Corporate Member

We are delighted to welcome Vialma as a new FEDORA Corporate Member, building on a collaboration that has developed over several years.
Vialma helps cultural institutions and cultural corporate sponsors engage and renew their audiences through tailor-made digital tools. They design turnkey, white-label solutions for your highlights as well as for the long term, and we support you in delivering them editorially, technically. Their partners entrust them with their own archives, which they enrich with an extensive multimedia catalogue spanning audio recordings, videos, podcasts, articles, games and more. They take care of curation, editorial writing, rights management, and technology. Vialma is also committed to rebuilding the dialogue between culture, education, and health, working alongside schools and hospitals.
A collaboration built on innovation
Our collaboration with Vialma began several years ago, since the 2021 FEDORA Award Ceremony, which Vialma hosted on its platform, at a time when the performing arts were facing unprecedented challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This digital collaboration helped us continue to celebrate the artists and projects at the heart of FEDORA’s mission. Thanks to our ongoing collaboration with Vialma, the 2023 and 2025 Prizes Biennale Award Nights were also made available via live streaming on their platform.
As Vialma founder Guillaume Descottes shared in a 2021 interview:
“FEDORA is extremely interesting and very good at having a very broad approach to innovation in all its forms […] We’re playing at the European scale, and I think in today’s world it makes a lot of sense to unify our forces, because we are stronger together.”
His reflections also captured Vialma’s approach to the relationship between artistic heritage and new technologies:
“Bringing the old and the past into the new world in such a way was genuinely refreshing and inspiring.”
These ideas continue to resonate with our shared commitment to supporting innovation and new ways of experiencing and engaging with the performing arts.
A new chapter
As Vialma becomes a FEDORA Corporate Member, we are pleased to take our longstanding relationship one step further. Vialma now joins a community of companies supporting FEDORA’s work to foster artistic creation, innovation and collaboration across Europe.

Guillaume Descottes is the CEO and Founder of Vialma, a multimedia streaming platform dedicated to arts and culture. Vialma has been the official streaming partner of FEDORA since 2020, hosting the live streams of the Award Ceremonies in 2021, 2023, 2025, and the upcoming 2026 edition.
