FEDORA Welcomes Duvelleroy as a New Corporate Member: Celebrating Craftsmanship and the Art of Performance
FEDORA's Philanthropists, Industry News
FEDORA is proud to welcome Duvelleroy as our newest Corporate Member, further strengthening our network of partners dedicated to artistic excellence, living heritage and the future of opera and dance.
Founded in Paris in 1827, Duvelleroy is an emblematic House devoted to the art of the hand fan. Revived in 2010 with a contemporary vision, the Maison preserves exceptional craftsmanship while reimagining the fan as an object of expression, refinement and movement. Throughout its history, Duvelleroy has collaborated with leading creative institutions and artists, placing gesture and lightness at the heart of its identity.

The connection between Duvelleroy and the performing arts is both historical and symbolic. The fan has long been a powerful theatrical accessory, from the dramatic language of opera to the contemporary expressivity of dance. On stage, it becomes an extension of the body: amplifying gesture, shaping silhouette and punctuating emotion. In dance, it interacts with rhythm and breath; in opera, it reinforces character, narrative and presence.
At FEDORA, we value this dialogue between craftsmanship and performance. Like opera and dance, Duvelleroy’s art is rooted in precision, tradition and transmission, yet constantly renewed through contemporary creation. This Corporate Membership reflects a shared commitment to celebrating artistry in all its forms, on stage and beyond.
We warmly welcome Duvelleroy to the FEDORA community and look forward to a collaboration inspired by heritage, movement and the poetry of gesture.
