FEDORA Capacity Building Programme 2026–2027: Exploring AI, Inclusion, Sustainability and Digital Transformation
FEDORA's Activities
Bringing together participants from across the three streams of the FEDORA Capacity Building Programme, Inclusion, Sustainability and Digital Transformation, the meeting will offer an opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore shared challenges and identify practical ways to strengthen innovation across the performing arts sector.
This year’s programme will explore the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) across all three streams, examining both the challenges it presents and the opportunities it creates. Through sessions led by FEDORA’s expert partners, participants will consider potential risks, explore alternative approaches and reflect on how cultural organisations can take actionable steps towards more inclusive, sustainable and digitally resilient practices.
The day will combine dedicated stream sessions with collaborative workshops bringing together participants from different fields and backgrounds. By sharing experiences and working through real-life scenarios, participants will be encouraged to identify practical solutions and concrete next steps that can be applied within their own organisations.
The meeting will also form part of a wider programme of discussions in Brussels. On 4 December, Opera Europa will host a thematic discussion day as part of INSPIRE, open to all participants, exploring digital transformation at the service of sustainability and resilience.
A follow-up meeting for each of the three streams will take place in spring 2027, with dates to be confirmed shortly, continuing the exchange of knowledge and supporting the implementation of ideas developed throughout the programme.
Join us at La Monnaie/De Munt for the closing event of Opera Europa's INSPIRE project, a training programme supported by the European Union Erasmus + programme.
