How can opera evolve to reflect the diverse voices and identities in contemporary society?
Untold is a story of cultural reclamation and artistic collaboration. Blending music, choreography, and storytelling, the piece challenges traditional opera with a fresh, contemporary voice. It defies genre boundaries, centres underrepresented perspectives, and reflects a growing movement to reshape opera into a more inclusive and resonant art form.“Winning the FEDORA Opera Prize has meant having a platform for our voices in a way that didn’t seem possible just a few years ago.”
Alex Ho, Composer of Here And There - Untold.
