The 2026 edition of NewImages Festival once again gathered the international XR and immersive creation community for its Industry Days, held from 7 to 10 April 2026, with the full festival running from 8 to 12 April 2026. Bringing together creators, producers, and cultural professionals, the event offered a dynamic space for exchange, discovery, and innovation in immersive storytelling.

Our Innovation & Partnerships Manager, Diandra de Lima, attended the event as a decision maker, taking part in discussions around selected immersive projects and contributing to the selection process alongside other industry professionals.

Held at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie in Paris, the Industry Days form an important part of the festival’s professional programme, offering a space for creators, producers, and cultural actors to connect and explore the evolving landscape of XR and digital creation. Alongside the industry programme, the festival also opens its artistic selection to the public, showcasing a wide range of immersive works.

We are glad to see Diandra representing FEDORA within this inspiring environment, and to continue strengthening our engagement with innovative practices at the intersection of performance, opera, and new technologies.
