FEDORA - The European Circle of Philanthropists of Opera and Ballet is a non-profit organisation, chaired by Stéphane Argyropoulos and that is based at the Palais Garnier with the aim to support creativity and innovation in opera and dance. Through its funding programmes, the FEDORA Prizes Biennale and the Next Stage Grants, FEDORA provides both funding opportunities and capacity-building to its network of over 130 opera houses and dance companies all over Europe.
Internationally recognised as the largest opera and dance competition and European Platform for new works in opera and dance, co-funded by the European Commission, FEDORA aims to guarantee the future of these art forms in Europe. Four prizes are awarded to promising teams who collaborate on the creation of new opera and dance co-productions, and on the involvement and education of new and young audiences. In parallel, the Next Stage Grants are attributed to projects that drive innovation through sustainable, inclusive, and digital transformation on, behind, and beyond the stage.
Are you passionate about the performing arts and eager to make a tangible impact through strategic partnerships? FEDORA, the European Platform dedicated to fostering innovation in opera and dance, is seeking a Corporate Philanthropy Coordinator to join our team in Paris. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend relationship-building with strategic fundraising, contributing to the growth and sustainability of our mission.
Corporate Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate sponsors and members, ensuring their continued support and satisfaction.
New Business Development: Identify and engage potential corporate partners, crafting tailored proposals that align with their corporate social responsibility goals and our mission.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute corporate events, including donor receptions and networking opportunities, to strengthen relationships and showcase the impact of our programmes.
Impact Reporting: Develop and deliver comprehensive impact reports that highlight the outcomes of corporate partnerships, demonstrating the value and effectiveness of their support.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the philanthropy team to develop and implement strategies that maximize corporate income through new collaborations and initiatives.
Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of funding proposals, manage donor databases, and support the overall operations of the philanthropy department.
Education: Master’s degree in business administration, cultural management, sales, or fundraising.
Experience: Previous experience in fundraising, sales, or event management is preferable.
Skills:
Exceptional public relations skills and customer service affinity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational, planning, and time-management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace.
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage.
Languages: Native or bilingual proficiency in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
Proactive & Independent: Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Team-Oriented: Collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
