FEDORA - The European Circle of Philanthropists of Opera and Ballet is a non-profit organisation that supports creativity and innovation in opera and dance. Through its funding programmes, the FEDORA Prizes Biennale and the Next Stage Grants, FEDORA provides both funding opportunities and capacity-building to its network of over 140 opera houses, festivals and dance companies all over Europe.

Internationally recognised as the largest opera and dance competition and European Platform for new works in opera and dance, co-funded by the European Commission, FEDORA aims to guarantee the future of these art forms in Europe. Four prizes are awarded to promising artistic teams who collaborate on the creation of new opera and dance co-productions, and on the involvement and education of new and young audiences. In parallel, the Next Stage Grants are attributed to projects that drive innovation through sustainable, inclusive, and digital transformation on, behind, and beyond the stage.

The Communications and Marketing Trainee will assist the Communications team in contributing to the organisation’s visibility, content production, and audience engagement efforts, in coordination with strategic partners and agencies. The role offers the opportunity to gain insight into communications in a cultural organisation with an international scope, while supporting FEDORA’s philanthropic and artistic mission.
