Congratulations to Milène Guermont for having been elevated to the rank of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite as “an Artist and an Engineer”.

The ceremony was held at the Ministry in Paris and led by Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister of Energy and Industry, and included a tribute by Dr. Katherine E. Fleming, President & CEO of the J. Paul Getty Trust.

Milène Guermont’s project SUBLIME DAILY LIFE, which was part of the FEDORA Prizes Biennale 2025 shortlist for the FEDORA Digital Prize, explores how the boundaries between art, technology, and daily life can dissolve to reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary. Developed within her “home-sculpture” MAISON GUERMONT in Paris, a poetic and innovative Gesamtkunstwerk,  a complete work of art, a digital opera bringing together artists, engineers, and researchers from across disciplines to transform everyday gestures, sounds, and movements into an immersive artistic experience.

The FEDORA Digital Prize is supported by Kearney, in collaboration with IMZ Music + Media Centre. The FEDORA Prizes competition is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Commission.

SUBLIME DAILY LIFE
