On May 9th and 10th, our Platform Member Associazione Arena Sferisterio organised a series of concerts and initiatives to promote the FEDORA Platform and the Macerata Opera Festival in cooperation with the Municipality, the University and the Festa dell'Europa (European Festival). During the evening, they also organised a meeting for their "100 Mecenati": the association of festival's donors and sponsors.

On Saturday, June 12th, together with Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Den Jyske Opera invited their audience to a free and festive opera concert under the open sky, where they could experience excerpts from both well-known classics and unknown opera treasures. The audience could enjoy excerpts from Carmen, La Bohème and Fête galante, performed by national and international soloists from the upcoming season: Ksenia Antonova, Christian Damsgaard, Randy Diamond, Sidsel Aja Eriksen, Morten Grove Frandsen, Trond Halstein Moe, Lena Haselmann and Laura Scherwitzl.
