We received numerous inspiring projects for the ballet, opera, education and digital prize categories.
An exciting period in our competition is awaiting us in 2020!
Our expert partners Opera Europa, Reseo and IMZ International Music + Media Centre, will evaluate the projects and the shortlist will be announced on February 3rd, 2020.
The voting phase will begin then, too, allowing the general audience to vote for their favorite projects.

The very first balletic Romeo in the world was famous Ivo Váňa Psota, a former soloist of the Ballet NdB. He danced the world premiere of ballet version Romeo and Juliet on 30th December 1938 in Mahen Theatre in Brno. But not only danced... He was a director of this performance too. Ivo Váňa Psota is one of the most important person in the Ballet NdB history.
