Every year, our Platform Members host a local “Roadshow” event showcasing their activities in line with the FEDORA Platform’s vision and mission. The events are organised around predefined themes such as emerging artists, education projects or innovative artistic work.
The aim of the Roadshows is to involve and inform local audiences about the FEDORA Platform’s European vision and to help increase the awareness about the importance of private funding as a complementary revenue stream to public subsidies for Cultural Organizations.
These activities are co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union that is helping to make opera and ballet more accessible to new audiences and advocates new funding models.

On Saturday, June 12th, together with Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Den Jyske Opera invited their audience to a free and festive opera concert under the open sky, where they could experience excerpts from both well-known classics and unknown opera treasures. The audience could enjoy excerpts from Carmen, La Bohème and Fête galante, performed by national and international soloists from the upcoming season: Ksenia Antonova, Christian Damsgaard, Randy Diamond, Sidsel Aja Eriksen, Morten Grove Frandsen, Trond Halstein Moe, Lena Haselmann and Laura Scherwitzl.Read more
