The AROP (The Friends of the Paris Opera) is a non-profit association, established in 1980, with the ultimate purpose of raising funds to support the Paris National Opera. It aims to build a strong community of individual and corporate opera and ballet lovers who wish to support the projects of the Paris National Opera. The AROP offers its over 4,000 individual and corporate members a diversified service portfolio.

Since its establishment in 1980, the AROP contributes to the artistic vitality and to the Paris national Opera’s outreach. Thanks to the generous donations of its members, corporate sponsorships, major donors, and to the profits generated through its wonderful events more than 100 million euros were collected over the 15 past years in favour of the Opera and its many diversified projects.
