About FEDORA
FEDORA - The European Circle of Philanthropists of Opera and Ballet (www.fedora-platform.com) is a non-profit organisation that supports creativity and innovation in opera and ballet. Through its funding programmes, the FEDORA Prizes Biennale and the Next Stage Grants, FEDORA provides both funding opportunities and capacity-building to its network of around 100 opera houses and dance companies all over Europe.
Internationally recognized as the largest opera and dance competition and European Platform for new work in opera and dance, FEDORA aims to guarantee the future of these art forms in Europe. Four prizes are awarded to promising teams who collaborate on the creation of new opera and dance co-productions, and on the involvement and education of new and young audiences. The Next Stage grants are attributed to projects that drive innovation through sustainable, inclusive and digital transformation on, behind and beyond the stage.
The Communications Department at FEDORA handles the strategic development of FEDORA's on/offline communications:
Development/content creation of on- and offline communications
Community management on social media and influencer marketing, in particular, to boost visibility and fundraising campaigns and promotion of winning dance and opera creations

The Trainee reports to the Communications Coordinator, but will work closely with all team members to gain insights about the work in a cultural organisation.
The Trainee will learn about cultural philanthropy in the field of opera and ballet while assisting the Communications Manager's work with strategic communications partners and agencies.
