Internationally recognised as the largest opera and dance competition and European Platform for new works in opera and dance, co-funded by the European Commission, FEDORA aims to guarantee the future of these art forms in Europe. Four prizes are awarded to promising teams who collaborate on the creation of new opera and dance co-productions, and on the involvement and education of new and young audiences. In parallel, the Next Stage Grants are attributed to projects that drive innovation through sustainable, inclusive, and digital transformation on, behind, and beyond the stage.
We are looking for a new member to join our international team as a General Management Trainee.
The Trainee reports directly to the Director, but will work closely with all team members to gain insights about the work in a cultural organisation.
The Trainee will provide comprehensive administrative and strategic support to the Director. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and facilitating communication within and outside the organisation. The ideal candidate will be the right-hand person to the Director, and should have a profile with strong organisational skills with great attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, with high efficiency and proactivity.
Responsibilities include:
Administrative Management
Meeting Coordination
Communication and Project Management
Research & Analysis
Conduct research on relevant topics, compile data, and prepare reports to support decision-making.
Office Management
Event Planning
Manage event logistics, including venue booking, guest coordination, and materials preparation.
Previous experience in administration or event management is preferable
